Section 1 – About The Kallective
What is The Kallective?
At The Kallective, we’re more than just an events marketplace – we’re a force for positive change. Our mission is simple: to harness the power of commerce for social good. Here’s how it works:
Every time our members participate in our events by redeeming tokens, we donate $.10 to the charity of their choice. But that’s not all – with every product purchase, we contribute 5-10% of the purchase price to the member’s selected charity, depending on their membership level.
HOW CAN MEMBERS CHOOSE THEIR FAVORITE ORGANIZATION?
At The Kallective, we’re dedicated to supporting impactful organizations in our communities. That’s why we’ve made it simple for our members to choose the organizations they want to support.
To select their favorite charity, members just need to follow these easy steps:
- Log in to their member account.
- Navigate to the ‘My Organization’ tab.
- Choose their favorite charity from our list of organizations.
If they don’t see their preferred charity on our list? No problem! They can submit a new organization for consideration right here.
Is there any cost to charitable organizations?
At The Kallective, we’re thrilled to partner with Pledge, a fundraising platform that empowers us to support our members’ favorite charities at no cost to the organizations.
Additionally, we offer our Fundraising as a Service program directly to organizations. While there is a small fee associated with managing events on behalf of the organization, the impact generated far outweighs the cost.
Can charitable organizations outside the U.S. participate?
At the moment, we’re focused on supporting US-registered 501(c)3 nonprofits through our partnership with Pledge. While we’re not currently able to accept organizations outside the US, we’re always looking for ways to expand our reach and support more causes globally. What are Featured Organizations?
Our Featured Organizations are carefully selected to align with causes that resonate with our community. While we showcase these organizations as part of our broader fundraising efforts, it’s essential to note that we do not endorse any specific organization or cause. Instead, we aim to provide our members with opportunities to support causes close to their hearts.
SECTION 2 – ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTIONS
HOW DOES THE CHARITY RECEIVE DONATIONS?
At the end of each quarter, The Kallective consolidates all raised funds and initiates an electronic transfer to our trusted fundraising partner, Pledge. Through this collaborative effort, we support a diverse range of organizations dedicated to impactful work globally. Should an organization no longer be in good standing, Pledge collaborates with us to identify another charity aligned with similar causes.
What is the minimum amount required for an organization to receive a contribution?
The minimum amount required for an organization to receive a quarterly contribution is $20. If the total contribution falls below this threshold, we will still process the donation to Pledge. They will hold the payment until the amount reaches $20 or until four months have passed.
HOW MUCH OF THE MEMBERS’ PURCHASE IS DONATED?
The Kallective donates 5-10% of the purchase price from members’ eligible purchases to their chosen charitable organizations. The purchase price for each item is the sale price, excluding shipping, handling, and taxes. Please note that certain items are not eligible and will not result in donations.
What purchases are eligible for contributions?
We believe in giving back. That’s why we’ve set up multiple ways for organizations to receive donations. First, we donate $0.10 to the organization for every redeemed token. Secondly, we donate 5-10% of the purchase price when members purchase products from our events.
